Testimonials
In over thirty-five years of teaching literature and fiction writing, both in the US and abroad, I would rank Isabel as one of the top two or three writers I have had the pleasure of teaching. She is a fine, detailed writer and a sensitive, accomplished thinker.

PROFESSOR, AUTHOR
Professor Phelps was amazing. She was incredibly understanding of what it means to be a student and made every class really intriguing. Every student got a chance to shine, and I definitely became a better writer after this class. She was also extremely respectful and very funny. I'm glad she was my professor.
